Internet down and the issue that follows

Well, the internet has been down since this morning, and I tried texting chat and ringing Telstra, all I get is hours of waiting. I got the first response from texting after two hours asking my name and things, and no response yet. The phone I rang first is 133933, after two hours of waiting I got the training purpose notice which we all know someone is picking up the line, then I get hang up right away. And I rang 132200 and waited for 10mins, someone picked up and asked me bunch of questions, then redirected me to 133933 again, so I’m waiting for another half hour without any response.

Are you on Telstra cable?

As there seems to be a national outage atm

Is there anywhere I can check on the Telstra website? The girl on 132200 said there is no outage, but I don’t think she knows that I’m on cable.

they are updating it on here periodically it seems Telstra has been working on the issue from around 5am EST but the cause is still unknown
