NBN Service Order

Anyone know how to get an actual real person on the phone? My mother-in-law was contacted by someone by phone and is now being changed to NBN. She had no idea. Didn't understand who she was talking to. Absolutely no info on what is happening. I have discovered a "device order" using the Telstra app but can't get to talk to a real person about what is actually happening. When I called Telstra they send a link to a useless web tool and then hang up because there is no-one to talk to because of Covid19, but it seems the sales staff are still working OK.

 

Anyone know what the Telstra office hours are?

It is very difficult to get through by phone (132200) at any time (but Office hours are generally 8am -8pm AEST).

 

In the app, if you type "Speak to a consultant" it should get you transferred to the queue to chat to a human.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
