Options for moving service while overseas

I have a telstra home bundle with broadband cable/home phone (Telstra T-Bundle Connector Everyday/200GB Ultimate - Cable) that is not under contract. I am vacating current residence in several weeks time and going overseas for three months. What options are available if I wish to resume this service when I get back and move to a new residence? Would I be better off to move it somewhere temporarily?

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Hi Jeremy,

I think either way (disconnect or move) you'd end up needing to recontract. So unless you want to keep the current number ( keeping residence within the exchange boundaries) maybe consider saving your moola Smiley Wink

Now it's just a opinion, any unforeseen extra cost on your return is outside my control Smiley Wink

Cheers,

Are you sure about the need to recontract? I have moved the service once already and didn't have to do that.

Nope.. Not that it would matter as you'd want to continue the service anyway?
