Telstra Online NBN order won't let me select a connection date
Good evening all,
I was attempting to place a order for a new NBN connection [FTTP] but when I came to the end of the order form I realised it never asked me for a connection date. This might be a problem because I won't be at the new home for another month. Is this unusual or normal as I would like to order in advance to be organised but don't want the service active until a specific date.

That's normal as Telstra places the order request with NBN Co and then NBN Co provides the next available installation date.
If you want to pick a date in the future, you will need to send a message using the My Telstra app on your mobile (blue icon, bottom right of Get Help screen) and if Codi redirects you, type (speak to a consultant" and you should be transferred to the queue to chat with a human. You will then e able to request that installation doesn't happen until after a certain date.
