Why does self installation cost money?
My understanding of self installation is that the services at the old address are disconnected and moved to the new address. If there is already a phone line there and everything is already set up, why does it cost $60 for it to be ported over?

Re: Why does self installation cost money?
Thanks for using Crowd Support. It's the cost to arrange the work for a disconnection and re connection at a new address. There would be a phone line connection fee also if you did not need a self install.
