Cost of app for netball live

It has cost me £18.99 for the yearly subscription via Google play, however my friend on an iPhone has only paid £13.99 for the year. Why is there a £5 difference for the same product?

Can I please confirm both purchases were around the same time? The cost for a

live pass has reduced within the last year if yours was purchased a while ago.
