4GX WiFi Plus activation issue , press activate and the screen simply times out

I have purchased a tester 4GX WiFi plus and cannot activate it.
I try and activate it as a current Telstra user and nothing is happening.

I've been working on it for 4 hr's and it is simply becoming ridiculous , especially that there is no Telstra tech support over the phone.
