Poor Activation times and Customer Support

Hopefully, I can find someone to help me or I can just vent.

 

How long does it normally take Telstra to activate a SIM on Pre Paid?

 

I have used multiple other carriers and they are almost instant... It has now been approximately 28 hours since I was provided with an order number and my status is still 'Pending'. 

 

And good luck getting any support via the chat program.... what a joke that thing is?

 

Glad I only purchased the $2 SIM, I was originally looking at the $150 / 6 Month version.

 

So I suppose I have saved myself $148!!

 

I am sure they can blame it on Covid!!!!

 

End rant!!!

All is forgiven Telstra!!!

 

Since my post 10 minutes ago I have received 3 emails from Telstra.

 

1) I earned a Gold Badge

2) I earned a Ruby Badge

3) I am a conversation starter

 

I am also pleased to announce that I have been promoted to the Rank of Cadet....

Awesome priorities Telstra.... great work!!! I almost don't need a phone now.

So no help here.... no help with online chat... just called and automated voice stated they wouldnt help me today because of Covid....

 

Bloody useless Telstra.... Obviously dont want new clients. I will stick with Aldi.
