Telstra Smart Modem
I am currently trying to connect my Apple MacBook to the Velocity internet via a Telstra smart modem.
The WiFi connects with no problems. But the when I try to connect to any website, the load bar will just stall half way and after a minute it will say Page failed to load.
But when I disconnect the WAN connection from the modem and let the modem switch to 4G, all the pages all loading properly.
Does anyone know how I can rectify this? I don't want to run on 4G all the time.

Re: Telstra Smart Modem
You could try changing both IPv4 and IPv6 settings in the modem this will by pass Telstra broadband protect. To change second open a web browser on device connected to modem and go to http://192.168.0.1 (Paasword is Telstra). Go to Advanced > Local Network. Select a DNS from drop down menu for bothe DNS 1 and DNS 2 and save settings. Disconnect and reconnect iPhone to WiFi.
