Unable to receive incoming calls from Optus Services

Good Morning All,


I am unable to receive incoming calls from Optus services after porting my number across. However, I can receive text messages, and call out to Optus services.


Does anyone have any idea in regards to how this can fixed?

Optus needs to update the numbers database with a redirect to send incoming calls to the Telstra network.


You need to ask Telstra to contact the Optus Porting team to get them to finish the porting process properly.


Send a message using the My Telstra app on your mobile (blue icon, bottom right of Get Help screen). If the bot doesn't understand the query, type "Speak to a consultant" and you should be transferred to the queue to chat with a human.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

Believe it or not, I've been on the phone with the porting team twice now with no result.


If there is a Telstra rep on here that can escalate, I'd be very appreciative.
