Hi Ashliem and DanK,

I will appreciate any help trying to find a chat copy. After 1hr + with a call centre agent today, for what I thought was a simple enquiry. Eventually I was told to use a reference number to access today's and other chats. I've tried many telstra pages to find the location of chat records. Previously when a chat finished and after feedback I could access a copy. I am a Luddite so any help will be welcome. Thanks

@Lo4 you can't access the chats directly if they have disappeared from the app, but you can give the reference number to a consultant and they will be able to refer to that conversation should the need arise (they can't send you a copy as the functionality doesn't exist to send previous chat records).

I appreciate your reply. I prefer to have the content of the chat window. The agent said there is a print option on the side of the window,  but there was none on mine. I guess the next time I make contact about my enquiry, I will need 1 hr + to go over it all again. Dread. Thanks

It used to be that after using chat and closing it, you were given the option to have a transcript sent to yo by email..


I don't use chat much, but when I have, the current version of chat doesn't seem to have that option anymore, but I ask the CR to send one too me - usually have to ask several times because they have very small attention spans nowdays..  those chat transcripts have saved hours of to and fro messaging, many times.
