The festive season is officially here, and with less than two weeks left of 2020, it’s time to look back at the year that was for CrowdSupport!

It’s been a year like no other, but we’ve worked hard to keep you up to date with all the latest from Telstra – like device launches, new products and services, notifications and announcements. Here’s just a few of our highlights from the last year:

New Members

We’ve had more than 100,000 new members join us on CrowdSupport this year! Welcome to everyone who joined us in 2020, and thank you to all 630,000+ of you who are part of the community today.

News, announcements, and so much more

Throughout the year, we kept you up to date with all the latest news from Telstra – like device launches, new products and services, and important announcements.

We shared news on the launch of iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12, as well as iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

There was the launch of Xbox Series X and Series S too, as well as the Samsung Galaxy Note20 range, Google Pixel 5, and Moto G 5G Plus.

We also introduced you to some of the latest offerings from Telstra, like Game Optimiser – our new gaming add-on that gives you the power to prioritise internet traffic in your home network, choose servers, help curb lag spikes and more. We also launched the Game Optimiser discussion board, where you can get support from our Game Optimiser Experts.

There’s the Telstra Smart Wi-Fi Booster too, which now comes with a Wi-Fi Coverage Guarantee, as well as Upgrade & Protect, an add-on that offers the flexibility to upgrade or replace your Telstra device.

Simplifying how you manage your Telstra account and services

In March, we introduced you to the My Telstra app – our new and improved app that makes it easy to manage your Telstra account and services. View your services, pay your bill, troubleshoot tech issues, contact us via messaging and much more.

Coming soon: The 2021 Brains Trust

In the new year, we’ll be announcing the new Brains Trust for 2021. As we do each year, the Community Management team will be selecting the most helpful, active and engaged contributors from throughout 2020 to be involved, recognising them for their incredible efforts assisting others by inviting them to this exclusive group.

A big thank you to our outstanding 2020 Brains Trust for all your efforts and contributions throughout the year. There’s no doubt we’ll see some of you returning to the group in the new year, along with some new names too.

I’d like to take this opportunity to call out a few of our Brains Trust members who have been consistently helpful all year, and say thank you with some bonus Telstra Plus points!

Congratulations to @Jupiter@cf4@Smiley3@Mkrtich and @Ozmoz! We'll reach out via private message with more detail.

@SteveW_52

Up until September no bonus points were issued and non were it expected. It was only that for September and October Telstra decided to give bonus points and it was announced in the Community Recognition post for September and October that bonus points would be issued. No mention was made of bonus points in the November Community Recognition post.

Were you contacted and asked for your Telstra ID so that Bonus points could be credit to your account for September and October? If you have not been contacted send a PM to @ashliem .
