What is it?
From the 31st of October 2017 until the 31st of March 2018, new Foxtel from Telstra customers will receive the Entertainment Package on us for 12 months when they take up at least one of our premium packages (Drama, Movies or Sport), or spend at least $20 on any combination of additional packages (eg. kids, docos, entertainment plus, HD). We will also throw in the iQ3 set top box for $0.

But wait, there’s more – anyone who takes up the 12 month offer can also change their package up to once per month and still continue to receive the Entertainment discount ( (provided  they continue to meet the minimum spend conditions)The Foxtel Online Self Service tool makes it easier than ever to make these changes, so make sure you head to My Telstra to take control of your Foxtel from Telstra service.

This offer is only available to new Foxtel from Telstra customers on a 12 month contract.

If I decide to keep Foxtel can I get a reduction in cost if I chop out all the life style garb and the soccer from sport channel?

there is a lot of garbage on Fox that could be removed which no one would miss. Fox may even grow with subscribers if they cut the crap and Advertisements that they charge their patrons.

HI all, I am paying for Foxtel Platinum but cannot access the rental movies or anytime catch up as my Foxtel powerline adaptors keep dropping out and so cant connect to the internet.

Foxtel sent out a technician once but it dropped out again not long after.

Very frustrating,  any solutions

Hi Karen, I hope this can be sorted out for you soon. If there are any known faults or maintenance works in your area these would be advised at along with updates on an expected restoration time. If nothing is listed there then it may be something specific to your account or connection - the Foxtel Support teams on 131 999 would be best to contact for further investigation and help.

considering changing from Foxtel by Telstra to Telstra Tv and Foxtel now bundle.  We currently record a lot of shows including free to air and sports on fox. 

I believe there is no function to record using the Telstra tv and Foxtel now.

I think I can use the catch up tv option to watch those shows that I would normally record from free to air but will I be able to access sports at a later time if I am not available to watch them live?

Hi Jobst. Thanks for coming through. Foxtel Now doesn't let you stream Sport content after it's been aired, sorry. There are often replays scheduled but the content isn't available on demand.
Probably best to keep the IQ box. Is there a specific sport you wanted to see, or is it across the board?

Following twenty years plus of being a loyal customer, we decided today to disconnect Foxtel. Why? On Friday I received an email stating that  there would be an almost 18% increase in our total bill.  A single component of the bill (sports) has a 45% increase!  

Repeatedly existing customers are not rewarded for their loyalty and are in fact exploited and for the most part ignored except when it comes to billing. Existing customers want to be acknowledged and treated with respect and not disdain. My family we're advocates and influencers in our circles for the Foxtel brand, as of today we can no longer support the brand, and will honestly recount our experience.  NB  There is rarely a response when existing customers ask for respect and reward for their enduring loyalty.

Why is the AFL app no longer providing replays of AFL games? It is one of the reasons I signed up for Telstra TV and now has been removed.

My apologise that AFL replays are not available via the AFL app on the Telstra TV box

On that AFL app you can watch match highlights, panel shows and various other content.


Live games and match replays are only available via the AFL Live Pass mobile app.

If you are trying to stream replays from the AFL mobile app on your mobile device to the Telstra TV , this is not an available feature
