How do I ask a question on the community?

If you’re new to CrowdSupport and need help asking your first question, we’ve put together this guide to walk you through how to post on the community.


Before you get started, you’ll first need to make sure you’ve registered for CrowdSupport and that you’re logged in. You can register or sign in using the dropdown menu in the top right corner of any CrowdSupport page (next to the search bar).



1. From the CrowdSupport homepage, hover over the Discussions tab in the top bar.
If you're on mobile, you can navigate using the menu in the top left corner.

2. From here, you can find and select the most relevant board for your question.



3. Once you’ve selected a board, click the blue Ask a question button to start writing your question.

On mobile, you'll see the blue Start a topic button.


Alternatively, you can use the Search the forum bar to see if your question has already been asked and answered. 

Top tip:
Improve your search results by using keywords, rather than complete sentences.



4. Once you click to Ask a question or Start a topic, you’ll be presented with a pop-up box to complete. When you’ve finished, click Post, and one of our community members or official Support Team will respond if they have the answer. You’ll receive an email to let you know once your question has received a reply (don’t forget to mark it as an Accepted Solution if it helped!).




Good to know:

It’s important to remember that CrowdSupport is a public forum, and you shouldn’t include personal details like your full name, phone number or account number in your post.
