The nbn™ network is here, and to make moving to the nbn network easy, Telstra is sending out nbn connection kits to eligible Telstra customers. If you’ve received one with a voice extender, this video will show you how to add it to your Telstra Smart Modem™.

You will have to navigate down under the 'Modem's section to get details on this device including how this can be ordered.


The NBN Voice extender is not something that we seem to have available as a separate device for purchase. I will have this thread tagged with our tech team to see if they can provide any further information on this for you as well.

I have paired the Voice Extender to the modem.  But no dial tone. Did as instructed and removed it for >2 mins. Still no dial tone, and  cannot receive incoming calls, so plugged back in to the wall socket pending answers.

 I have a DECT 6.0 phone.  I read somewhere that Dect 2 is needed.  Can't be serious! Really?

Does anybody have a clue why I have no dial tone.  Does it require Telstra to do the final checks b4 it will work?
