iPhone 12 Pro Features

A design pushed right to the edge.
The Super Retina XDR display goes edge to edge. With Ceramic Shield, which has four times better drop performance.

Claim is based on iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro Ceramic Shield front compared with previous-generation iPhone.

Say Hello to 5G.
Superfast speeds. Incredibly low latency. So you can get faster downloads, better-quality video streaming, more responsive gaming and real-time interactivity.

5G now rolling out in selected areas on selected plans.

The chip that pushes what’s possible.
Introducing the first 5-nanometre chip in the industry. Which means more speed, more power and more efficiency.

AR at the speed of light.
LiDAR creates accurate depth maps in nanoseconds, so objects are placed instantly and more accurately in AR experiences.

A new day for Night mode.
Night mode goes Wide and Ultra Wide, and it’s even better at capturing natural colour in dim light. The new Wide camera captures 27 per cent more light.

Dolby Vision Recording.
10-bit HDR recording makes video more lifelike. You can easily edit, watch and share Dolby Vision videos too.

Just got a iPhone 12 mini. I’ve installed the SIM card and it works fine. But my question is do I need a new SIM card for 5G ??.

Hi Keith, you don't need a different SIM for 5G access on a compatible handset but you won't be able to access it if you have dual SIMs enables (i.e. one physical SIM and an eSIM). If you disable the secondary SIM then you'll be able to connect to the 5G network where available. This can be done under the Settings > Mobile menu. Choose either the physical SIM or eSIM under the 'Mobile Plans' section (depending on which one you want to disable) and turn the toggle to Off for 'Turn on this line' in the next menu
