@TimBartel Hmmm, will be interesting to see what people choose 🙂 Probably the usual facebook, twitter rubbish lol

Apart from the phone and messaging apps, I only have four apps on my main screen, so it would have to be one of them.

Main app I would choose is GasBuddy. While it is American based, it does have a large following in Australia so I can easily keep track of when to buy my petrol. You would rarely buy from Coles Express if you used this app lol. I like how you can set your favourites, so easier to see trends in pricing. It just needs a paid version so I can get rid of the ads.

That's an interesting one @Ozmoz! I've not actually heard about it before, but certainly sounds like it'd come in handy.

I don't really consider phone or sms 'apps' per se! But I'm afraid I might feel compelled to hold on to that 'facebook rubbish' - I'm too connected for my own good!

If I could only have one app it would have to be the Google Chrome Browser app. With the browser you can get rid off most of the other apps and use there online sites. As well as email and social media sites most video sites can be viewed using a browser now that most sites have converted there videos from flash to WEB M.

Ah yes @cf4 a browser is a seriously important app, probably #1. Now that I have a S9 I 've defaulted the bixby button to that so I don't have the launcher on my main screen, so out of sight, out of mind.

I guess I've picked one that can save me anywhere form 5 cents to 35 cents a litre a week, over the year that app has saved me heaps of mula lol (I'm in Vic, so not sure how it works in other parts of the country though).

@TimBartel just shows you are more connected that I am, a great requirement to have working for the "T" though, probably my age showing through though lol. I only have a facebook account so at times when it won't let me view something unless I am logged in 😞

@OzmozIf I am searching for petrol I use the MotorMouth website

My "can't do without app"  is my bank.

I am daily saying a prayer then looking to see if they've decreased the extortionate interest rate they charge😥

@cf4 Thanks for the info. Have you tried MotorMouths app? I went to install it but it requires a mobile number. I'm afraid if I do that I will start getting spam SMS's? I'd like to compare it to my current GasBuddy.

@OzmozNo I haven't tried the app. Just have the site bookmarked in my browser.

I am assuming that @TimBartel question "...on your phone" means that it will work as a phone and that the "Phone"app does not count? If so, the next most important thing on my iPhone is "find my iPhone". Essential that every user is has this app installed, understands how it works, and can remember their Apple ID
