PrePaid activation

So having arrived back in Australia from overseas I am in isolation and asked my friend to buy me a pre paid pack so I can communicate with people order food etc. 

ITS BEEN 36 HOURS and Telstra still hasn’t activated my account WTF!!!!

worst telco in history. I have asked my friend to now go and buy me a Vodafone pre paid pack. 

The best part is with Telstra there is none to call there’re a no way of getting any response other than this forum... not that I expect anything to come of it.

Update - now going on 50 hours and still nothing.  Going to have to now demand my money back.

DO NOT USE TELSTRA - TOTALLY HOPELESS!!!!!
