Mine gives 2g for $10 and the complete only 1gbfor $10. I can't seem to have an pptioo. Has this plan I'm on not available to new activations. I'm not tech savvy and can't seem to get an answer or even get a person to talk to !. Especially with covid going on.

Hi Angtol,
The Pre-Paid Max plan isn't available anymore for new customer's or existing Pre-Paid customer's that aren't already on that plan.
The Pre-Paid Complete plan has replaced the Max plan.
Telstra does have an offer going at the moment for the Pre-Paid Complete plan.
To get 17GB bonus data with the first 3 recharge's, recharge $30 or $40 by 30 June, and make your next two recharges by 31 Aug.
Getting the Bonus 17GB on those 3 recharge's makes up for the lower standard included Data per Recharge.

If you recharge $10 (has 7 day's expiry) on these two plans it's classed as a Standard Recharge.
If you did need more Data you could purchase a Data Top Up pack.

Once you put a $5 or $20 Recharge on you'll need to convert that money to Data.
This Data will get put directly into the Data Bank and once in there has no expiry date.
This link explains how to convert your $5 or $20 recharge into Data.

This is because pre paid max is no longer in market. New pre paid numbers will need to go onto pre paid complete unfortunately

Re: Prepaid plans on a second phone
New Pre-Paid numbers actually have a choice of either the Pre-Paid Complete plan or the Pre-Paid Long Life Plus plan at the moment.
Just stating this incase someone reading these posts thinks they can only choose to Pre-Paid Complete plan with a new Telstra Pre-Paid number.
