Telstra One number on a pre-paid account

Hello,

Is there any news on Telstra One Number being available on Pre-Paid mobile plans?

it seems a little silly that you are not locked in to a contract with One Number, and you can come and go month to month, yet you have to have it on a contracted post paid plan. 

It should be simple to have it attached to a pre-paid plan as like One Number you can come and go month to month. 

A few months ago (before COVID) I was in a Telstra shop asking about buying an Apple Watch with cellular and they told me I could put it with my pre-paid plan. Now I find they were wrong.
