When will the Samsung GALAXY S7 Edge be getting the OS update?

Can't tell you exactly, it has to go through testing first, but Samsung is slowly rolling it out.

Don't panic. It's not an earth shattering update. I got Nougat on my Sony XZ just after Xmas and you can barely notice the difference. Most of the stuff that Google put in Nougat already existed in the custom mods that the manufacturers made to their current versions of Android.

Samsung's Nougat does bring a fair few new features though, like third-party notifications on the Always On Display, blue light filter etc, so we're really looking forward to it.
