Tbox - died

After many years of faithful service our Tbox died. I suspect it was killed by an update. Would be very upset if it was a deliberate shut down on MY device. Went to Fetch - I want a FTA that records, Yelstra TV does not record and is glitchy. Tbox exit and my tbox died on update coincidence?

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Re: Tbox - died

As far as i know, the update that limits the functionality of the T-Box won't be pushed out until close to, or on, the cut off date

Re: Tbox - died

I would suspect the hard drive (hdd) failed in it. Can you hear it working in the tbox (read write ticking and spinning).I had to replace mine once so if you have a spare laptop size one lying around you can swap it in.
