Telstra T Box fault

My T Box just keeps flashing quickly and there is no response, I have pressed the remote and no response on the screen, I have reset 3 times and reset for the longer 15 sec time to start the machine again and the box is asking lets get started but there is no response when pressing the remote just a sound from the tv indicating you press, the led on the front still just flashes fast, any advice here.

It is not good to read of the issues you are having with the T-Box. 


Please try the reset button (bottom of the box - reset tab - hold for 1 second) just so the T-box can reboot.


If no luck with that, try a soft reset (holding the reset tab for 5 seconds) you wont lose any data, just have to run through the setup sequence again.




If you have access to the T-box menu system - try doing the reset settings option

(hit menu on remote -> settings -> T-box information -> reset options -> reset settings)


This will also take you through the setup sequence.

Sounds like you're referring to a Telstra TV, not a T-Box

Does the light stop flashing quickly if you remove the batteries from the Remote? If so, it is the remote causing the issue and may need to be replaced.

The remote for the Telstra TV1 also works for the Telstra TV2. If you have a second remote, remove the batteries from the problem one and use the second one in the meantime.
