Cannot register iPad to foxtelgo - says 5 Devices already registered but Telstra & Foxtel say 2

My iPhone logs into Foxtel go but my iPad receives a message stating 5 devices already registered so deregister 1, however screen pop up only shows 2 X devices registered and both Foxtel and Telstra confirm there is only 2 registered neither Foxtel or Telstra help desks will assist - they both send me to the other - so an endless loop. As an FYI the Tbox is working fine any ideas
