Portable WiFi

Answered

I’m housesitting for a month and there is no WiFi.

I’m fine to use my data for Facebook and the like (although wireless would be better) but I have a Foxtel Now puck box and Google Chromecast and would like to be able to use them on my television.

I see that Telstra has a WIFI pro and a WIFI plus. As I’m only looking for a one month solution I thought using one of these might work, but want to check here before I make the purchase. It would obviously also make sense for it to be prepaid.

Has anyone used one of these for a similar purpose with success?

Re: Portable WiFi

I have used a 4G WiFi modem modem and connected chromcast and Foxtel now box to it. I don’t see any technical reason why you could not use the wifi pro or wifi plus.
