I am waiting for my NBN box to arrive and will still be another week. Can use Telstra air? If so how?

Login into your account and see if you can activate it.

Once you've logged into Telstra 24x7 My Account
1. Select the service you want to activate
2. From the Telstra Air page click the “Activate” button
3. Activate your service
4. Connect to Telstra Air on your device using your Telstra ID

Worth first checking first if you can see any Telstra Air/FON WiFi around you first, unless you just want to use it on the go. https://www.telstra.com.au/telstra-air/find-a-hotspot
