New phone feeling

What will happen if I redeem the new phone feeling and when Telstra receive my current device they decide it's unacceptable but I have already received my new device and started using it?

Typically they will call you and discuss the situation however if it is clearly not eligible it would typically result in you having the remaining handset repayments applied to your account the same as if you had upgraded without NPF.
