Well if you look at the front of the Hornsby Telstra store you can clearly see big balloons spelling out "NBN is here!" And so naturally I went to the nbn coverage checker an. Noticed only 4 houses in Hornsby are nbn ready or in build and they are all new developments! The rest are planned for something in 2018! They also had a billboard add and an ad in the parking of Westfield saying Hornsby nbn is here and to visit the Telstra store?
Is 4 new developments how Telstra define a suburb/LGA nbn ready?

When the NBN CO roll out their Network they do advise us that is is available in the area and we update our site where you can check your address  http://tel.st/83vp Not all houses are connected at the same time.

Sure but how come only 4-6 premises are connected in the WHOLE OF Hornsby area are connected and that means the NBN is here? Please explain.

It would be very unlike NBN Co to do 4 premises at once, it would be an inefficient and ineffective way to do the rollout. 4 zones maybe but 4 houses just seems very unusual.

It is because the Hornsby Telstra Shop also services the Thornleigh and Westleigh areas. Which are in the process of coming online now (May & July 2017).
