When can I connect to NBN?
I live in Kenmore Hills and am an existing Telstra/Bigpond ADSL2+ customer.
I have been told that my connection to NBN will be via HFC. A box has been connected to the outside of my house, with a cable to a pole in the street.
My wife was told by a contractor working in our street this week that we will be able to connect to NBN after next Thursday, however I read on the Telstra/NBN support FAQs that no more new HFC connections will be enabled for 6 to 9 months.
Who is correct?

If there is no order in the system for you to have the NBN connected, then this will not be changed to the NBN service. More details on this process and what this means for you can be located at:
