Adding second webmail account to primary webmail so both show in the one webmail account

I have successfully created a second email address in Telstra MyAccount but unable to get it to appear in Webmail.

The second address does not appear in My profile within Webmail and even though I have tried to manually enter the account per online instructions with imap/smtp settings including the Port and SSL settings,Webmail will not recognise the second address. After adding in the imap etc settings and hitting save, the page is showing "verifying your account" and continuously loops and will not finalise.

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Re: Adding second webmail account to primary webmail so both show in the one webmail account

Rather than use Webmail, you could try setting up an email client on your mobile device or PC and adding both account o that? Which client you pick depends on what device you are using. For Google the GMail app works fine with multiple accounts..  for a PC, take your pick really - Outlook, MailSpring, Thunderbird etc.

Relying on Webmail is not a safe or sensible practice, as many found out during the recent Telstra Webmail failure.

Too many devices, probably an addict :-) also a tinkerer and developer of stuff..
Not with Telstra, just another customer like you!
