Additional mailbox activations

Can someone please tell me how long it takes to set up an additional mailbox?
I set it up 3-4weeks ago and according to the Telstra consultant I spoke to over the phone, this is normal and can take 6 months?!
Is this correct? Seems ridiculous

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Re: Additional mailbox activations

Good morning,

What you were told is wrong.....absolutely wrong!

Just search "Additional BigPond email address"   and it will take you to the link.

It is instant.     As I'm on my iPad, can't link it at present, but let me know if you can't find it, and I'll do it from my PC later.

May I suggest that gmail is a far, far better free email service.

Many thanks

Re: Additional mailbox activations

Thanks for the reply.
I have done that and it says that the service is set up but waiting to be activated. So irritating!
Once last phone call today and then I am switching!

Set it & forget it
