Can't recieve emails (really frustrating!)

Hi all

I have been using Incredimail since about 2000.  Recently my family decided to get optusnet wifi and suddenly I have not been able to receive emails through incredimail.  I am still able to send, just not receive.  This seems to be a contridiction to everything I read on the net and seems to be when people have problems its with sending emails out is the issue. 

I have just spent an hour on the phone with optus but they weren't able to help so just wondering if anyone else can help me.  Going through webmail works for both but I am so used to Incredimail if I can get it working I would rather go through there than to have to log in to webmail all the time.

I have noticed that instead of the incoming being POP3 it says IMAP.  I am NOT at all technical but does that make a difference?
