Computer Crashed lost all emails

my computer crashed unexpectedly and I had to restore to factory settings.  I was running my bigpond.com emails from outlook 2016.

Is there any way through webmail to recover my email messages?

I was caught unprepared, my  last .pst backup was 2 years ago 😞

I've logged onto webmail but it only has files back to 19th March

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Re: Computer Crashed lost all emails

When you reset the PC to factory defaults did you have to reformat the hard drive. If the hard drive was not reformatted the old pst file will still be on the hard disc.

Hey PaulaWalker,

I'm sorry that you have had issues with the computer that has forced the reset to be completed 😞 There is currently no feature that is available to have your past emails recovered via the Telstra Mail service. If there was no backup completed on the hard drive for the Outlook service, then regrettably any emails that have been deleted via the Telstra Mail service will not be able to be recovered.
