Disappearing emails

Despite sending emails to various folders, they disappear after only a few weeks and earlier in some cases. What am I doing wrong?

Are the emails disappearing on the server (viewing mail using a browser) or on your email client?


If the emails are disappearing on your email client then check the synchronization setting of the email client. Most are set for 7 or 14 days. If set for 7 days the email client will only keep email that is less than 8 days old.
