Emails clubexpress.com wrongly marked as spam

I am in a club that gets email newsletter sent out each week to members. We use a package called Club Express, used by hundreds of clubs around the world. We have several hundred members and most get an email each week. But all the members with bigpond.com or bigpond.net.au addresses only get the email as junk. I have tried adding the sender, mailer@mail2.clubexpress.com to the safe sender list, but problem remains.

Looking at the email header, I can see the following

X-Priority: 3 (Normal)
X-Mailer: ClubExpress Mailer
X-RG-Spam: Unknown
X-RG-Spam: Suspect
X-RG-VS-CLASS: commercial-misc

Seems like you need to add clubexpress.com as a safe domain for bigpond accounts. Assume this affect many more users in Australia.

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

You will need to send a copy of the bounce message, as well as when it started occurring and your contact details to postmaster@bigpond.com so that they can look into it.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
