Issue with email receive/sent on iPad

Up until a couple of days ago my bigpond email was working well on my iPad. 
Now it won't receive or sent emails...  I have not changed anything it just stopped working.
I also deleted and added again the account but no lunch

any ideas to resolve would be very much appreciated.

Change your email password. When you can successfully access your email via webmail then try adding email account to ipad and enter new password.

Have you tried resetting your password, deleting your account in ipad and try again?

Yes I have done all that, rebooted modem as well

Nothing to do with rebooting the modem. Resetting email password... change your email password.

Can you send/receive using the mail app on your phone? ... or in Telstra Webmail?.

I don't have email on my  phone  and have no issues with webmail which I a using to get emails daily

Webmail is working so it appears that your password is ok. I’d be checking the mail settings on the iPad.

Lynd20 said that the username and password log into Webmail, so why change the password?.

Thankyou so much for your help..  Finally was able to sort it out with your help 😊
