Mail appon iPhone, sending email from non-Telstra/Bigpond account
I have seen other messages similar to this, but being a bit dumb, cannot solve my problem.
I have a @hotkey.net.au address.
I have a @bigpond address
I do not use hotkey (or iPrimus who own them) as my ISP... I use Telstra/Bigpond
My Outlook 2016 is working perfectly on my laptop. I can receive and send beautifully.
I understand that Outlook, the app on the iPhone cannot handle pop3 so I don't use it.
I use the Mail app instead, on the iPhone.
I can receive to both accounts on the iPhone.
I can send from the BigPond account on the iPhone.
I cannot send from the Hotkey account.
I receive a message "Cannot Send Email..Check the settings for the outgoing servers in Settings>Mail....".
The settings in the iPhone hotkey account for Outgoing Server are
Username my Bigpond email address
Password ... the same as I always use for Bigpond
Use SSL is off
Authentication.... I try both password off and on
Server Port 25 (I previously had 587 or something like that).
Hey, I used to have the correct settings, then I did a restore, and the settings wer elost.
