Mailbox full but not full

I hve had this message hundreds of times but my mail bow is empty. 24-7 chat dont seem to be able to help. This has been going on for weeks now. Anyone got the same issue?
Dear BigPond Member / Telstra Member,

Your mailbox for your Bigpond/Telstra email account is full having
reached the mailbox quota limit of 1GB or approx 10,000 messages.

As a result your email account is unable to receive any new messages
until you reduce the amount of mail stored in your mailbox. You may
continue to send email via the account but you will not be able to save
a copy in your sent items until you reduce the amount of messages
stored on in your mailbox.

You have the following options to regain space and continue to receive
and send messages in your mailbox:

1. You have the option to use POP3 to download mail through an email
client (eg. Microsoft Outlook). This is recommended for customers
who use an email client but not for customers who want to continue
to use MyInbox/Webmail.

2. If you are a customer that is using and would like to continue to
access MyInbox/Webmail please note the recommended optimal number of
messages to be viewed is approx 2,600 messages. It is recommended
that you:

a. Continue to clear out any unsolicited mail in the mailbox.
i) Deletion of unwanted messages or marking messages from
particular senders or with particular subjects as Junk/SPAM.

ii) If using MyInbox you can also create message rules under
settings, messages, rules. (Hint: You can use message rules to
setup criteria to either a. Mark messages as Junk, or b. delete
unwanted messages automatically).

b. Save any large attachments to your PC/Laptop and delete the
message. Or if using an email client eg. Microsoft Outlook move
the message to a personal folder.

3. You can also call Bigpond support on 133933 and request for any
unsolicited mail in the mailbox to be cleared out of the account.
Please note that there is a minimum 48 hour turn around time. If
calling from outside of Australia you can call us on +61 2 9242
1238.

Kind regards, The BigPond Team.

Hi Brommers1,

When you mention your mailbox is empty, is that when logging into your Webmail?

Re: Mailbox full but not full

Hi there,

Log into webmail, email still there. I wonder why email account from IPad and from webmail r not connecting even the same account. It's really annoying. Hope you can help because I need to receive email from clients. Thank you. Cheers
