not receiving email in outlook since move to Telstra mail

Since the move by Bigpond to Telstra Mail, my Outlook client is not receiving email.  Don't want to move from the current client - just want the right settings.

I also don't want to move.

No warning - just done.

No contacts set up, no folders.

Thousands of emails to sort through.

DISASTER !

I'm done with this mob.

If you hear about a class action let me know.

I'm in !

Re: not receiving email in outlook since move to Telstra mail

Telstra mail. can it be any more complicated, multiple inboxes, multiple email accounts, years of contacts out the window, no-one knows how to fix it.  CSO's can only apologise and I'm sick of that too.  Here comes big faceless telstra telling me what I need but cant provide what I want, everyone form a straight line and bend over or join premium for $15 a month and it can all be sorted out.  I didn't ask for it I don't want it, God I wish there was another viable provider.

Re: not receiving email in outlook since move to Telstra mail

Problem is that we'd have to change email accounts.

But if I was starting afresh - anybody but NOT telstra.

Hey Telstra - 10 GB of email and attachment?  Big deal!!!!

Google mail  -15 GB, also availalbe from anywhere, Google drive and a lot of other utilities.  All free.

And Telstra shows no respct for long term customers.

Customer support - what support?  Waited for half an hour before I got a response, then the guys said "my system has just failed and I ahve to reboot.  Can I call you back in 5 minutes?   That was 2 hours ago.

Tried Chat - after starting at 30 something in line, I was 9th in line after 1.5 hours!!!!!   Hey Telstra - WELL DONE!!!!

Quality of knowledge by support staff  - what knowledge??  Wrong most of the time!!!!

Logic in the way they do things - you'd have to be kidding.

As I said at the start, if it wasn't for the fact that I cannot get any other service where I live - TELSTRA HAS MADE SURE OF THAT - and if my family was prepared to change email accounts, I'd dump them in a minute.

I think you are asking for mail settings for the Outlook software application.

If so, they are available here:
