read messages on all devices

even though i have read an email on my mobile it is still unread on my laptop and desktop computers. Reading it once on any device should change it on all devices

Have you set the account up as IMAP on all devices?
If so, it will update the next time it syncs with the server, which varies depending on what sync frequency you have it set on in your settings on each device
