The previous posts will still show in archive mode on crowdsupport, some of those from 2016 may be still relevant and others may not but if it isn’t relevant posting a question is usually an easy way to get an answer.

 

The point is that the crowd can help each other out with information and guidance, information specific to different devices or steps on how to do things - including on non-Telstra devices. The types of things that would generally be outside of what base support would be able to help with.
