Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC90) with Outlook 365

Outlook will download mail (POP3 account) but then gives the follow send/receive error message after the mail has been downloaded and I cannot figure out why....


Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC90): 'Your incoming (POP3) e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).  The server responded: -ERR no such message.


I have seen other posts in regards to similar issues but none where the server responded  '-ERR no such message' at the end.


I have checked the incoming and outgoing settings and they are correct and stable (some have reported that they can change) as per the Telstra settings advice page. There is only one email account.


Has anyone come across this and what it might mean?
