Recipient limit on email


I have Telstra BroadBand and I am having trouble with Microsoft Outlook on my PC.  I am trying to send a group email with approximately 130 recipients and I keep recieving an error message.  Someone has suggested that my ISP may impose a limit on the number of recipients in a single email.  

Is this true? Is there anything I can do?  (I do not use a telstra email if it makes any difference.)

There are limits in place where no more than 20 emails can be sent in a 10 minute period. If you are sending one email to 20 recipients, you will need to wait 10 minutes before you send another email.


Our Telstra Business services have an option called Bulk Mail which would allow for an increased number of emails/recipients to be sent.
