RESOLVED - server & IP issues with bigpond email address

Resolved - bigpnd sorted their issues


Hi Im an I.T Tech and i have been having multiple customers since monday not being able to receive emails primarily on computers. sending works but outlook cannot connect to the email server, issue appears to be with telstra server blocking the IP address

troubleshooting done and findings: 


check all email settings - all correct and tested on another PC and working

reboot modem - no change

disable firewall & antivirus - no change

resetup email - wont accept server connection

repair/update office and windows - no change

check webmail - working

change internet connection - working and downloads emails


outlook connects and downloads as soon as being connected to another internet connection such as mobile hotspot or a connection with different IP address

any one else have this issue or have a resolution? about 7 different people and businesses affected
