SLOW mail log in

Hi Telstra, the webmail service has been very slow the last 48 hours or so.

log in is "reasonable" time, however then sits "loading" for a very long time - and then keeps timing out.

managed to write a new email - went to save the draft - "saving draft" until it "timed out".

cant log in now to see if the draft actually saved - - because it is "loading" for such a long time.

What is WRONG? and when will it be fixed.

this is not the first time - but is most frustrating when working from home

There is currently an upgrade in progress on Telstra Mail (since 8:30am on 10/08/2020) which is causing the system to be unavailable.

 

Check https://outages.telstra.com.au for updates.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

It is not helpful that the mail upgrade is still in progress and "you will not be able to send or receive mail in the meantime".

There is no help available by phone or here; the situation is poor.

There is no help available full stop for the current issues. The solution is to wait until the update is finished. There is nothing else that can be done.

Hi.

The email system is STILL unavailable & the Update page shows it has been "upgrading " since 10/8/20 - it is now 21/8/20 !

Telstra is continuing to treat its paying customers with contempt.

Its great to know that THIS is the way Telstra is "supporting us whilst working from home " !!

If there is a bigger problem - Telstra needs to Own up - and provide some progress reports.

Does anyone have a way of contacting an actual person who can give some timeline?

24-8-2020  still email/webmail  not working. telstra blaming  NBN.  at least let your customers know what the hell is going on.    4 emails taking 25 minutes to load . 

Set it & forget it

With direct debit there’s no need to give paying your bill another thought.

Avoid queuing up and never worry about late fees again.

Setup direct debit
