Some emails showing in webmail have stopped coming through to outlook

I received an email from a new contact on 27/8/18 in outlook, however when they sent me more emails on 29/8/18 I did not receive them in outlook.  I have now checked webmail and the emails are showing in webmail on 29/8/18 (and 27/8/18).

Why have the emails stopped coming through from just this one contact and how can I fix this problem please?

This could be due to the sender being blocked in outlook. Open settings and check Junck > Junk Email Options > Blocked senders.

Hi - thanks but already checked they aren't blocked (note I had already received an email from them earlier).

Is Outlook configured using POP or IMAP settings? Do you have your email account configured on any other devices?

Hi - Outlook is on "POP/SMTP" and I haven't made any changes to this configuration. I don't have my email on other devices.

Just because their email previously made it to your email program does not exclude being blocked from being an answer.

Have you checked settings in your antivirus/firewall/email scanning program to make sure that program has not been triggered and is blocking the address.
