Suspected Spam rejection 558 5.7.1

Trying to send a text only email to club members (BCC’d) with no links or attachments. Also tried sending the email to the postmaster@bigpond but it rejects that for Spam as well?

 

I was able to send out a club newsletter email with PDF attachment no problems earlier?

 

Very strange!

Same is happening to me.  I really don't have the time to sit here for hours in order to send an email to my church office with an attachment for inclusion in our weekly news sheet. I have sent a similar email every week this year, but this morning it is telling me it is suspected spam. Obviously there is a problem with Telstra's Webmail. Looking on the web this was also happening as far back as 2016!  Isn't there anyone who can fix it? I went on the chat line but just kept getting messages thanking me for my patience, which was (and is) quickly running out. What is normally a 20 minute task so far has turned into 2 and a half hours of frustration.

The only fix is to send a copy of the bounce message (with a quick description of what you were trying to send) to postmaster@bigpond.com

Even if you receive a bounce message from that address, the message should still be received.
Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

Thanks, tried emailing to that address, it won't send at all.

That’s correct. Before posting I tried sending it to the postmaster but it won’t because of the spam filter.
