Telstra mail account no longer recognised on apple products

Telstra mail (bigpond.com) works fine on webmail, but same unchanged account name and password does not work on mail app on iMac, still running Mojave, or iPhone, running IOS13.7.

 

Are there any solutions to this that work?

What do you mean by “does not work”?.

The error was that ‘account name or password were not recognised’ on the apple devices. Where I did not get that error logging in through Telstra web mail.

that said, I did eventually get onto someone at Telstra who has reset the account on their system, which seems to have worked.
