Telstra pit removal/relocation

Hi all, got my house built about 2 years ago. On the velocity network. 6 months ago our neighbour moved in after building and a Telstra pit was installed half on our land and half on theirs. Seems a bit silly as we already had our communications connected to our house. Now we can’t have a proper garden bed or put up a dividing fence. Seems a bit unfair that more is on our land than on theirs. Any suggestions?

Re: Telstra pit removal/relocation

That is a bit odd. Normally they are placed outside the property boundary in the nature strip.

Your best option would be to contact the Telstra Network Integrity Group on 1800 810 443

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

You can also lodge a request to have the pit moved through here :  https://tel.st/7y528e
