The server has responded with negative reply.

I administer a small club and use Wild Apricot membership management software. The last couple of months when I send out the monthly newsletter a large proportion of the Bigpond ones are rejected with the error code below. We're talking about 50 emails or so. Retrying the failed ones a few more will get through and keep trying several time until most get through but no all. Very time consuming, very annoying and has not happened until recently. And only Bigpond ones, other mail providers work OK.Failure text: The server has responded with negative reply. The server responded: 421 Connection refused due to exceed max concurrent connections. IB007.

Hi,

This is indicating that your IP has too many open connections and new connections are not accepted.
Your mail server should be able to queue up the mail and process it over time.
I can take a look though, Please send me the domain, and or IP address you are sending from.

The emails are sent by ihc@wildapricot.org - is that what you want?

Set it & forget it

With direct debit there’s no need to give paying your bill another thought.

Avoid queuing up and never worry about late fees again.

Setup direct debit
